One of the questions I am asked quite often is:

"How many Energy Healing sessions does my animal need?"

It is a natural question.

When our beloved companions are struggling physically, emotionally, or energetically, we want to help them feel better as quickly as possible.

The truth is that healing rarely follows a fixed timeline.

Over the years, I have learned that every animal responds to Energy Healing and Animal Reiki in their own unique way. Some experience noticeable shifts after a single session. Others need more time, more trust, and more space to gently open to the healing process.

Animals often tell us, through their behaviour, energy, and messages, exactly what they need.

Our role is to listen.

Your Animal Knows What They Need

Some animals actively participate, soaking in the healing energy and seeming to ask for more. Others engage with curiosity for a few moments and then move away, returning later when they are ready.

There are also animals who have experienced fear, stress, or trauma and gradually build trust, deepening their energetic connection session after session.

By respecting their choices and boundaries, we allow the healing process to unfold naturally and in its own perfect rhythm.

Animals are wonderful teachers of presence. They remind us that healing is not only about relieving symptoms. It is also about creating space for peace, comfort, balance, and well-being.

How Can You Tell if Energy Healing Is Helping?

After an Energy Healing session, many animals show what I call a healing shift.

Sometimes the changes are obvious. Here are a few beautiful examples I have witnessed: a dog willingly accepts its leash, an older horse or cow moves more comfortably, or a sick cat starts eating again.

At other times, the first shifts are more subtle: less barking, reduced anxiety, a brighter expression, or simply a feeling of peace shared between the animal and their human companion.

While changes often appear during or shortly after a session, they may also unfold over the following hours or days.

Every animal is unique. Observe your companion with an open heart and gentle attention.

A Heart-to-Heart Approach to Healing
