The pain can be devastating after the loss of a dog or cat, horse or other beloved animal companion and friend.
Being faced with the reality that the things you did together will never happen again is terribly painful.
Your pets shared your home, your heart, and just about every aspect of your life. The emptiness they leave can be almost too much to bear, but there's a constant message that deceased animals have given me over the years, a message that can reassure you and ease the pain in your heart:
Your pets are perfect in every way when they leave their bodies.
Don't worry about them, they're fine...
With their last breath, they are welcomed by another loved one, a spirit guide or angel, and continue their journey as a spiritual being.
Your beloved friend is not lost, is not afraid and will never leave you.
Your souls are intertwined forever.
Their messages are clear...
No matter what happens to you, including a divorce, a move, a new job, a new baby, a new pet, your deceased companions are right there with you and their love accompanies you always.
Your soul-to-soul bond will never break...
It can be difficult to feel their presence, especially if you are in deep pain. Grief creates a protective blanket around you to prevent you from suffering further.
Be patient and know that your deceased animals can hear you, but it may take some time before you feel their presence.
Some animals send very clear signals, while others feel less need to show that they are close to you. This doesn't mean that they've distanced themselves from you; it's simply a question of personality. Honor them for who they are.
Invite your deceased animal friends to send you a sign...
Follow these six steps to invite your beloved companions to send you a sign that they are close:
1. To begin with, say a mantra and/or a short prayer of protection. For example: "I call upon ... (... any or all of these: my Angels, my Guides, the Archangels, God, the Creator, The Universe)" and ask to be completely surrounded by divine white light, throughout the day, keeping away all negative energy. Say "I humbly thank you for your protection and guidance."
2. Call your deceased animal friend by name, or even better, by nickname. When you say their name, visualize them in a beautiful memory and smile.
3. Radiate your love towards the heart of your deceased friend and feel his love radiate towards you. Feel this exchange in your heart and soul.
4. Now ask your animal friend to show you a sign or send you a message. Ask them to make it obvious.
5. Thank your animal and visualize how their energy returns to their soul. Return your energy to your heart in the same way. Thank them for coming to hear your message.
6. Then keep an open mind and wait for their answer without being obstinate. Pay attention to everything around you. Some signs appear at the strangest times and when you least expect it. If you feel something, don't doubt it! That something was indeed a sign from your friend! Thank them and ask them to send more signs.
Feelings of grief and guilt may interrupt your connection...
There is a time to grieve and mourn your loved one, and this can temporarily interrupt your connection. Be gentle and patient with yourself.
Remember that your beloved friend wants you to recover as soon as possible and is telling you that life can be good, even if they are is in another dimension.
Your love is eternal and your bonds can never be broken.
